Not every chip means a new windshield
Repairable
Small chip
If the impact is smaller than a coin, has no long cracks and isn't directly in the driver's line of sight, it can usually be repaired with resin. It's quick and much cheaper.
Tip: cover the chip with clear tape and get it fixed soon – dirt and cold can turn it into a crack.
Needs replacing
Long crack or shattered glass
Spreading cracks, impacts at the edge of the windshield or damage in front of the driver affect safety. In these cases, replacement is the only right option.

Yes! We're a mobile auto glass service – we bring all our equipment anywhere in Neamț County: home, office or a car park. Anywhere you need us – except while you're driving! If you prefer, you can also visit our base at Aleea Tiparului 14, Piatra Neamț.
How long does a windshield replacement take?
Fitting usually takes around 1–2 hours. Afterwards the adhesive needs some curing time before you drive – we'll tell you exactly how long, depending on the product used.
What warranty do you offer?
The windshields, rear windows and side windows we fit come with a 2-year warranty on sealing, delamination and optical distortion.
Is it worth repairing a small chip?
Yes. An untreated chip can quickly become a crack, especially in winter or on bumpy roads. A repair costs much less than a new windshield.
Do you work on all car makes?
Yes, we fit glass for cars of all makes, SUVs and light vans. For rarer models we check availability and get back to you with a quote.
