Questions about windshield replacement
How long does a windshield replacement take?
Fitting usually takes around 1–2 hours. Afterwards the adhesive needs time to cure before you drive – we’ll tell you exactly how long, depending on the product used and the weather.
Can I drive right after the fitting?
Not straight away. The adhesive has to cure enough for the windshield to be held securely. When we’re done, we tell you when you can leave and what to avoid in the first few days (for example automatic car washes).
Can you replace the windshield at my home?
Yes. We’re a mobile auto glass service and we come anywhere in Neamț County – to your home, your office or a parking lot. If it’s raining hard, a covered spot (a garage or underground parking) helps, or we pick another day.
What information do you need for a quote?
The make, model and year of the car, the windshield features (rain sensor, camera, heating) and, if possible, the VIN. A photo of the windshield helps a lot.
What warranty does the new windshield have?
Windshields we fit come with a 2-year warranty against leaks, delamination and optical distortion.
What should I do until the fitting if my windshield is cracked?
Avoid potholes, slamming the doors and big temperature changes (for example blasting hot air onto a frozen windshield). All of these can make the crack spread.
